About the Author |
David R. Laughlin was a lay minister for thirty-nine years, assisting the pastors of ten different congregations in various denominations, and has acted as pastor of four small mission churches across the United States. He has served as youth leader, minister of Senior Ministries, Sunday School teacher, and Sunday School Superintendent. He has spent twenty years leading bible studies, both within the church and in neighborhood homes, and has been active as a Nursing Home Chaplain for the past five years. His major training came from a year of intensive personal tutoring by a theologian and an extensive interrogation by the Board if Examining Chaplains in the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. He was on of six appointed Elders at Yelm Prairie Christian Center, Assembly of God, and was serving in the ministry of New Life Assembly of God in Inwood Iowa. He was enrolled in the Iowa School of Ministry in preparation for becoming an Assembly of God minister. And is presently singing praises to the Father full time. David R. Laughlin was a remarkable man, a great dad, honest as the day was long and will be greatly missed. I hope you can enjoy and grow in the faith as you use this work he created. I called him Daddy but he was happy to just know the Father knew of his work. Humble, and a man of few words. I was with him in the end and I can tell you without any doubt he knew where he was going and is there today.
I am David T. Laughlin a proud son of a man I miss.
I removed dads email since he cannot answer it from where he is now.
